We Downloaded this data from the PsychENCODE Consortium (http://resource.psychencode.org/) and further examined gene mRNA expression level in brains of bipolar disorder cases and controls. In the original study, PsychENCODE collected post-mortem dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) tissues from 144 subjects with bipolar disorder cases and 899 controls from European ancestries. We extracted the expression values (fragments per kilobase of transcript per million mapped reads (FPKM)) and P value of genes from PsychENCODE website. Detailed information about the study subjects are provided in the related publication.
